Townsville Grammar School is one of the original Grammar Schools of Queensland. The Year 7-12 campus is located on the original site at North Ward. The School also operates two Junior School campuses, both offering Pre-Prep to Year 6, at Annandale and North Shore. We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Pre-Prep Educators to join the Early Education team at both our Annandale and North Shore centres. These positions will contribute to a warm, supportive and professional environment where the care, safety, and learning of children are at the heart of everything we do. About the Roles: As a casual Pre-Prep Educator, your duties will include: Assisting in planning and preparing the environment, setting up the learning areas, preparing and clearing away materials and supplies. Creating a friendly, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environment for children at all times. Implementing the program in a flexible manner that is compatible with the child’s needs and interests Sharing cleaning responsibilities relating to the group, and then with other staff in other areas of the Centre. Taking responsibility for the safety of the Centre’s environment and its equipment. What we're looking for: At least Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building partnerships with families. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification. Current training in Child Protection. A valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and commitment to child safety. Formal qualification not required for Inclusion Support positions.
