The successful candidate will provide HR solutions and support across employee relations, performance & development, remuneration and benefits, reward & recognition, employee engagement and wellbeing for a geographically distributed workforce across Australia. Key Responsibilities: ER/IR Interpret HR policies, procedures, employment legislation and Modern awards, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk Manage employee change requests and processes Conduct investigation and case management activities Performance & Development Manage the annual performance and development cycle including communication, system updates and training Manage probation review processes Remuneration & Benefits Conduct benchmarking for new roles using the NDS Remuneration Framework and external tools Assist with annual salary review processes Assist with the annual salary benchmarking process Manage Elevate benefits system and promote Identify other benefits for employees Reward & Recognition Manage and promote the Quarterly Values Awards and Annual CEO awards Manage Service awards Manage staff Christmas gifts Employee Engagement & Wellbeing Assist with Annual Employee Workplace Survey processes Manage and promote the Assure Care Wellbeing Gateway Compliance Manage mandatory Compliance training in Ignite Assist with annual WGEA reporting processes People & Culture Operations and Projects Respond to employee and manager People & Culture enquiries providing excellent customer service. Coach managers on People & Culture people leadership activities to build organisational capabilities. Proactively identify opportunities for the improvement of People & Culture processes, systems, policies and tools. Document SOP’s and keep updated. SME for Ignite, Elevate and Assure Care Wellbeing Gateway and identify opportunities to enhance NDS utilisation of the systems. Assist with payroll and other People & Culture operational processes. Assist with organising People & Culture events and training. C ontribute to strategic People & Culture initiatives. Skills And Experiences Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and experience in a generalist Human Resources Advisor/Business Partner role. Knowledge of employment legislation and experience providing IR/ER advice. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong skills with MS Office, MS Teams and HR systems eg: ELMO. Strong administrative, time management and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail. Ability to perform in a fast paced, changing environment with a high volume of activities across multiple sites. Strong customer service approach with an ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times. Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes and systems and implement solutions. Ideally experience in a NFP or the community services sector.
