Description Program Officer: Cultural Strategy and Creative Economy - Term Contract until June 2026 The City of Parramatta is going through unprecedented change and transformation as it becomes Sydney’s Central City. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Officer looking after programs and projects within the Cultural Strategy and Creative Economy (CSCE) team in Council's City Culture Business Unit. You will work strategically across Council and with external stakeholders to deliver CSCE programs and projects, with a focus on night-time economy programs including Purple Flag. Key Responsibilities: Work with internal and external stakeholders on strategic projects and programs Conduct research into place-making, safety and vibrancy initiatives Pro-actively work to support the arts, culture, live music, and entertainment capacity of the City Collaborate on marketing and communication initiatives About you We are looking for someone with: Tertiary qualification that relates to planning, business innovation, project management and/or other relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience in developing strategic documents and policies Proven ability to identify key issues and opportunities, with a track record of resolving complex challenges through innovation and collaboration. Demonstrated experience in leading projects, managing budgets and contracts, and delivering outcomes within tight deadlines and competing priorities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships across diverse audiences. What’s on offer Term Contract Opportunity until June 2026 We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $87,851 to $96,771 plus 12% superannuation.
