Description Job Overview: The Senior Crew Scheduling Specialist uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external issues to improve the Crew Scheduling discipline within McDermott. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the Crew Scheduling discipline. The Senior Crew Scheduling Specialist solves complex problems and uses discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior Crew Scheduling Specialist impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the Crew Scheduling team and other related teams. It ensures they work within the appropriate guidelines and policies. Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Coordinate offshore crew recruitment process, including interviews, reference checking, medicals, PPE, payroll, and onboarding documentation while ensuring compliance with McDermott HR policies and procedures Develop, implement, and maintain COVID management plans, and coordinate crew coordination to ensure compliance Manage offshore personnel logistics roster, including international vessel crew logistics, travel, accommodation, transfer, and associated travel logistics for offshore personnel Plan and implement travel logistics of crew mobilizing to/from the site and liaise with the offshore administrators and crewing and logistics team Collaborate with sub-contractors to arrange approval of sub-contract personnel, required project training, rosters, travel, and logistics Ensure up-to-date management of offshore HR files, visa database, and tax spreadsheet information, keeping records current, including employee lists Coordinate the issuance of PPE, maintain maps personnel logistics database, and apply for visas of international offshore personnel Coordinate personnel tax briefing and tax assistance for offshore personnel and manage cyclone evacuation logistics Maintain crew make up with work visas and training details as per the project requirement Ensure additional personnel with project specific trainings are available for rotation Interpret and apply company HR policies, procedures, and initiatives Report and collate data relating to the personnel movements of contractors/subcontractors Interpret offshore craft certification, coordinate personnel training and familiarization logistics plans for pre-project training Liaise with training & HSEs departments to ensure logistics are coordinated for necessary project training & competency before personnel mobilization offshore Assist in coordinating attendees at project inductions and perform general administration tasks Qualifications Essential Qualifications and Education: Diploma or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years of HR / Crewing & Logistics experience with Oil & Gas offshore construction experience Excellent personal communication skills and exposure to online crew management systems Ability to work in a team Flexibility and adaptability What you can expect from us.
