The Role The Retail Manager is responsible for leading all operations and functions of the retail operations. This rare opportunity will see you take charge and lead by example as you manage and lead the team, and capitalise on business opportunities to grow the business. This role is a full time position with an annual salary set at $77,000 plus superannuation. Responsibilities Selecting the variety of food products, maintaining the stock levels, and establishing quality service standards. Advertising and promoting the restaurant's products and services. selling customers product and service and offering guidance on their proper use. Monitoring inventory levels and documenting financial transactions. Managing the budgeting process within the organization and reporting. supervising the recruitment, managing and training staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Implementing health and safety regulations and ensuring compliance with food hygiene standards. Creating and implementing purchasing and marketing plans, along with setting pricing. Analysing sales figures and identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. advocating for pricing decision at the headoffice Coordinating with suppliers, shopping and managing advertisement and marketing policies. Oversee cash management procedures, including daily reconciliation and deposits. Build relationships with the local community to enhance the restaurant's reputation and visibility. Maintain high standards of customer service and handle customer complaints, google review efficiently. Requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or retail management Minimum 12 months' experience in commercial retail management at a Managerial level Minimum of 12 months' people management experience Minimum of 12 months' in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage Minimum of 12 months' in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences Minimum of 12 months' experience in using retail management systems, POS systems, and stock management software Strong operational management background Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement Demonstrated VM / volume stock management abilities Passion for driving customer service Good time management and attention to detail
