You will work under the direction of the Senior Manager, Planning and Operations to provide a broad range of administrative and resource support functions which ensure effective delivery of School operations. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School Support Officer to join the School of Management. In this role you will assist our Senior Coordinator, Planning & Operations to manage sessional staff engagement, onboarding, and pay processes. The ideal candidate will possess exceptionally strong customer service, and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting. To be successful in this position, you’ll have: Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support within a university or similarly large and multifaceted organisation, with a strong understanding of institutional processes and stakeholder needs. Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain efficiency in a dynamic work setting. Skilled in planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks with minimal supervision. Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of work, including data entry, document preparation, and communications. Committed to accuracy, consistency, and quality assurance. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a professional and approachable style. Capable of building positive relationships and working effectively across diverse teams and service areas. High-level competency in Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Excel and Outlook—with experience using website content management systems and document repositories to support efficient workflows. Experience in planning and delivering events, including logistics, communications, and stakeholder engagement. Ability to manage multiple elements and respond flexibly to changing requirements (desirable) Proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery and streamline administrative processes. Willing to contribute ideas and support change initiatives that improve team performance and user experience.
