Learn more: www.kwhb.com.au Your Next Move: Strategic Finance with Purpose Katherine West Health Board is looking for a full-time Finance Manager, based in Katherine or Darwin, NT. Reporting to the Executive Manager Corporate Services, you’ll lead the financial operations of KWHB, working closely with internal teams and funding bodies to ensure systems, insights, and reporting support the organisation’s continued growth. This isn’t a back-office finance job — this is your chance to lead, influence, and build the financial capability that enables better outcomes on the ground. More specifically, your responsibilities include: • Maintaining the KWHB financial management information system • Leading the development and refinement of financial systems, processes, and procedures • Manage end to end operations of the finance team including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, allowances, and reconciliation • Ensuring timely and accurate reporting and compliance across a diverse range of funded program activities • Preparing accurate, insightful monthly reports and financial analyses • Partnering with program managers to connect operational activity to financial performance • Leading the annual budgeting process and tracking program-level expenditure • Overseeing end-of-year audits and financial preparation for the AGM • Guiding the rollout of a new integrated finance and HR system • Identifying process improvements and leading collaborative change implementation To read the full position description, please click here. To qualify, you will need a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, with 5 years of experience in financial management and proven team leadership. CA or CPA accreditation is highly desirable.
