Scope & Key Responsibilities Act as the primary Cyber Security partner for an assigned Technology function, representing their needs within Cyber and ensuring alignment with business priorities Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders (Director/VP level), using emotional intelligence, influence, and persuasion to drive alignment and decisions Operate confidently in both internal Cyber forums and Maersk-wide client-facing situations, adapting approach to diverse audiences Maintain situational awareness of Technology function strategies to ensure Cyber remains integral, prioritising and coordinating cyber security activities within the Technology function, including investment planning, incident response, compliance, and audit closure Increase Cyber maturity across new and, where relevant, existing Tech products and services, taking a risk-based approach to balance strategic and Cyber requirements in line with the strategy Identify and clearly communicate risks, gaps, and opportunities, ensuring informed, value-driven decision-making Coordinate and matrix-manage a virtual team of Cyber SMEs, drawing on permanent and on-demand expertise Drive measurable improvements in cyber maturity, tracked through regular reporting cycles Support the development of Portfolio Management processes and Cyber’s Front of House (FoH) function, promoting best practices and continuous improvement especially with regards AI opportunities The Candidate Leadership: Experience in a Leadership role/Cyber Account management role/Consulting background – 5 years Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrable experience brokering agreements and influencing proven at Director level/C-Suite Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas concisely and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities, articulate challenges and harness agreement with technical SME leads to support solution prioritisation and delivery Knowledge of Cyber Security principles including NIST Proven ability to lead and coordinate a virtual team across multiple locations to deliver cohesive outcomes Technical: Technical experience in Cyber Security – 5 years Skilled in more than one of the following areas: Technical Account Management / presales for Cyber Cyber Security (IT, ICS, IoT, OT) auditing process Cyber Security Governance and Risk Management Cyber Security Implementation – Multi-Cloud solutions, Secure by Design, IDAM services, cryptography, zero trust, and end-to-end security DevSecOps Data Management & Modelling Deep understanding of AI developments in cyber security, including leveraging AI-powered solutions for cyber defence, and to safeguard enterprise data both within and from AI technologies Education: Degree level minimum, Masters preferred (or equivalent experience) Additional Information: Proven ability to drive and embed organisational change (preferred) Experience of agile ways of working (Enterprise level preferred) Knowledge of Maersk (preferred) Maersk Behavioural Competencies: Business Insight (Skilled) Strategic Mindset (Skilled) Drives Vision & Purpose (Skilled) Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
