Broad marketing, brand and communications role Part-time opportunity - 3 days per week Based onsite in North Ryde (3 days in office) 6-month contract initially Attractive salary package benefits A dynamic Australian professional services and engineering consultancy with a collaborative, flat-structured culture are seeking a hands-on Marketing Specialist to take ownership of marketing, branding, and communications activities. This is the first dedicated role of its kind so there is a huge amount of scope to make this role your own. This is a 6-month part-time contract (3 days per week, flexible) based onsite in their North Ryde office. This role is office-based to work closely with senior leaders, including the Managing Director, Corporate Affairs Lead, and other key influencers. You will be the go-to person for all marketing activity, from refreshing website content and capability statements to coordinating social media, events, and brand presence at industry conferences. You’ll work closely with technical leaders to transform complex, technical content into engaging, customer-focused material, improving visual presentation and ensuring consistency across all channels. You will be responsible for: In partnership with the Head of Compliance & Secretary, Managing Director and Market Area Leads, develop and implement a strategic plan for updating and modernizing marketing materials across all formats (web, print, social etc). Lead the redesign of visual elements to ensure brand consistency and contemporary appeal. Manage the rewriting of marketing content to enhance clarity, relevance, and client engagement across all marketing and digital channels. Develop and deliver marketing campaigns for events and special initiatives ensuring campaigns deliver consistent, engaging brand experiences aligned with strategic plan. Influence senior stakeholders and maintain strong internal and external relationships to deliver high quality outputs. Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for marketing projects. Manage the structure, content, and governance of the internal SharePoint site for marketing materials. Facilitate marketing for conferences and roadshows, speaker and stakeholder communication, lead logistics and branding. Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications. You will have: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, digital communications or a related role. Proven experience in marketing and communications, ideally in professional services, engineering or technical environments. Proven experience delivering high-quality marketing and digital communications, with a strong grasp of content strategy, audience segmentation, and engagement metrics. Proficient with Canva, LinkedIn, and Google Analytics. Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels – confident and collaborative style. Strong understanding of brand management and corporate communication strategies. Comfortable as the sole marketer, proactive, and resourceful.
