We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Third Party Maintenance Contracts Manager to join us in our Gas Operations West team in Perth on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Manager Maintenance Delivery West, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional results for our customers and APA. This is a customer-facing, commercially accountable role where you’ll work with some of WA’s largest mining and resources companies. Key Responsibilities Manage and support the delivery of O&M contracts for customer-owned assets, ensuring obligations, KPIs, and APA standards are met. Build strong customer relationships and deliver on expectations. Develop and manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, tracking performance against targets. Use Power BI to model, monitor, and report on KPIs and contract performance. Lead contract renewals and new agreements, ensuring compliance with AS 2885 , Australian Standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate across engineering, planning, regulatory compliance, HSE, commercial, and finance teams, as well as with contractors and regulators. Provide leadership and support to the Contracts Maintenance Lead. Your background Experience in customer service, contract management, or field service in mining, resources, oil & gas, or heavy industry. Proven track record in high-performing teams delivering measurable results. Strong commercial and budget management skills. Power BI or similar analytics tool experience (highly desirable). Engineering dgree (preferred) or trade qualification; MBA or equivalent commercial experience highly desirable. Knowledge of AS 2885, Australian Standards, and industry compliance requirements (highly regarded). About the Team The Third Party Maintenance Contracts team is embedded within APA’s Gas Operations West business unit, part of our Operations & Maintenance function. We are responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of gas transmission assets across Western Australia, with a strong focus on maintaining high performance for our third-party customers — from major mining and resources companies to townships and power generation facilities in remote WA locations, where natural gas is a critical energy source. Our work supports infrastructure that is essential to WA’s economy, communities, and industry, ensuring security of supply while meeting strict safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across engineering, planning, HSE, regulatory compliance, and commercial teams, as well as with our customers, contractors, and regulators, to deliver value and uphold APA’s reputation as the partner of choice for gas transmission services.
