The opportunity Provide a positive learning experience for students and park guests by facilitating educational programs, presentations, initiatives, and guest interactions throughout the park and undertake the associated administrative tasks. Your day to day • Perform educational/host roles in Animal Adventure programs such as Glass Bottom Boat tours, Polar Bear tours and Ray Reef feeds. • Deliver engaging in-park presentations at our animal exhibits to provide information to guests on the biology, welfare and conservation of a variety of species. • Facilitate educational programs for all visiting students and provide park guests with an educational learning experience • Assist in the implementation and updating of educational programs delivered in the park • Respond to communication from students and members of the public on issues of relevance to the marine environment and Sea World • Guide snorkeling programs for park guests to provide the highest level of safety for the guests and the animals What you’ll bring • Recreational ship masters license essential • Advanced First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Advanced Resuscitation Certificates essential • Working with Children Check (Blue Card) essential • Teaching qualification is preferred • Knowledge of the marine environment and conservation issues within the marine environment is preferred • Public speaking experience is essential
