Make a difference through the innovative ways you match grant & philanthropic funding opportunities to community health priorities as you nurture the right corporate support. Proven success in BD, FR or corporate partnerships in NFP/health/community Hybrid role Gold Coast. Mostly out & about: some office. Report to CEO. FT role, 12-18 month contract with options to extend anticipated. Become irreplaceable. Develop partnerships to last into the future. Values driven, this organisation is recognised as one of the best-performers in the community health services sector across Australia. Agile and professional, it works on the premise that everyone should be able to receive the right support at the right time. But, as we’re all aware – government funding simply doesn’t stretch to accommodate everyone. There are gaps. And closing those gaps to secure the untied funding needed to support people or groups who fall outside of the existing service confines is what this exciting role is all about. Working with a supportive Board and CEO, you’ll identify what support is most urgently needed within the community – whether that’s program or service development – and the budget required to meet that need. That becomes a special project. Using your existing networks and continually forging promising new relationships, you’ll get in, talk, listen, make the contacts, bring everyone together, ‘sell’ your persuasive story, instigate a campaign, win support and close a philanthropic financing deal that will improve or save lives! Now that’s a job well worth getting out of bed for. And the added attraction is that you’re building it from the ground up – making it yours. Your contacts. Your connections. Your conversations. Your influence. And at the end of the day, your success in finding the funds for yet another lifechanging initiative. That’s the simple version. But as you well know – if you have the experience and expertise we’re looking for – there’s a lot more to it. Such as strategic implementation, internal collaboration, relationship management, reporting and analysis, risk mitigation, pipeline development, budget planning. And so on. This is a fascinating, growing role for a motivated professional with wonderful soft skills, entrepreneurial flair and the determination to make a difference – every day! With excellent communication/presentation skills, a personality that opens doors and a genuine commitment to values-driven work, you have already made short work of donor stewardship, grant writing and securing funding. Now you’re ready to take your expertise to the next level. This could be the chance you’ve been hoping for. To ensure your application truly stands out, we encourage you to seek further information to explore the finer details before crafting a compelling cover letter that shares your unique story. Be sure to highlight the core values you believe you would bring to this exceptional charitable enterprise.
