EXPRESSION OF INTEREST INTERNAL OPPORTUNITY FlowRider Instructor $28.18 Part Time – Additional Role Wet’n’Wild, Oxenford, Gold Coast The opportunity: A FlowRider instructor will be required to supervise the safe operation of the attraction and ensures that all guests’ needs are met, and their expectations exceeded. You will need to comply with the designated operational procedures and operate within all OH&S boundaries. Your day to day: • Inspecting the FlowRider Amusement Device to ensure it is in operating order for the public prior to Park opening. • Ensuring guests have a fun and safe experience when experiencing the FlowRider. • Following all policies and procedures while adhering to the VRTP Code of Conduct. • Reporting any hazards, faults, damages, or changes to the condition of the Flow Rider Amusement Device. • Liaise with the Retail department regarding bookings and session times. • Communicating with the Park Supervisor regarding daily operation. • Complete daily reports on completion of inspections. What you'll bring: • Minimum 6 months’ experience working as a Lifeguard at Wet ‘n’ Wild. • Ability to work on FlowRider over a 7-day roster • Must be available to work FlowRider on days that meet business requirements • Strong safety focus & attention to detail • Excellent customer service skills • A professional appearance and attitude. Sets a positive example in current role • Ability to work independently • Ability to keep up with a fast paced and physically demanding operation. • Has clear and effective communication skills • Has a proven record of strong work attendance, and not currently on a wellness plan • Performance dossier does not have any verbal warnings issued within the last THREE months • Performance dossier does not have any written warnings issued within the last SIX months
