ABOUT THE ROLE As Risk Manager, Investments , you will support Line 2 oversight of the Investments function by contributing to assurance activities, monitoring controls and incidents, and ensuring compliance across a broad range of asset classes including listed equities, fixed income, private equity, infrastructure, property, and private credit. The role also involves oversight of co-investments and directly managed deals, with a focus on maintaining alignment with regulatory obligations across both domestic and international jurisdictions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Apply the Three Lines of Accountability model across investment operations; Deliver independent oversight across all asset types and deal structures; Conduct control reviews, monitor incidents, and support compliance activities; Collaborate with first-line teams to implement risk frameworks and meet regulatory standards; Maintain and optimize risk systems for monitoring and reporting; Provide challenge and oversight on investment projects and operational risk matters; Coordinate audit responses and manage supporting documentation; Lead regulatory change initiatives and contribute to governance forums; AND Ensure regulatory obligations are clearly understood and effectively managed. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Proven experience in first or second line risk roles within investment management or superannuation sectors; Solid grasp of buy-side markets and relevant regulatory environments; Skilled in handling competing priorities with minimal supervision; AND Demonstrates a strong focus on stakeholder outcomes, innovation, and accountability.
