We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven Marketing and Communications Advisor to join our South Queensland team, based in Brisbane. This role is ideal for a marketing professional with strong experience in event management, sponsorships, and regional marketing strategy. You’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing GHD’s brand presence and engagement across the region — developing GHD-led events, managing conference sponsorships, and supporting strategic marketing initiatives in collaboration with our APAC marketing and communications team. Working with an energetic and high-performing team, you will: Advise and collaborate on the planning and execution of bespoke events from concept to completion. Manage regional conference sponsorships and industry memberships, ensuring ROI and strategic alignment. Partner with subject matter experts to secure speaking opportunities and develop content and social media plans that elevate GHD’s reputation. Develop regional content including project case studies, award submissions, and social media announcements. Collaborate on strategic initiatives and APAC campaigns. Support internal communications for project and people stories. Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all marketing collateral aligns with GHD’s brand guidelines and writing style. Use Salesforce and other marketing systems to track activities and measure impact. What you will bring to the team: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Minimum 7 years’ experience in marketing, with proven expertise in event management and sponsorships. Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
