The Role The DC Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring seamless execution of operations in our distribution centre working with three direct reports and over fifty indirect reports. You will lead and mentor staff, ensuring that we are resourced efficiently to provide the best service and product to our customers. You will champion continuous improvement in this role, making key improvements to processes improving service, quality and governance. This role will be key in influencing business growth through efficient logistics performance and ensuring strong compliance with organisation standards. Role Responsibilities: Manage day to day Operations of our Chilled Distribution Centre (CDC) Provide coaching and leadership to build team capability Lea d the efficient scheduling of resources, goods and equipment Monitor KPI’s and address issues Liaise with stakeholders on distribution, warehousing and customer requirements Act as our CDC’s key contact for continuous improvement projects and operational improvement Oversee adherence to and improvement of our Quality Management Systems Ensure CDC Operations adhere to relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Requirements : Tertiary level qualification in Business or Operations Management is essential Warehousing and FMCG Distribution experience Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Industrial Relations and Safety What do we offer: 5 Weeks annual leave Employee rewards program Various health and wellbeing discounts i.e. private health, hotels, gyms Employee Assistance Program Apply : To apply for this role, please submit a CV and covering letter that best shows your relevant skills and experience.
