The Role The Process Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the production processing function across DFP and Beverage, ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective transformation of raw materials into finished goods. This role oversees production planning, resource allocation, equipment utilisation, and personnel performance while ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance are consistently met. Role Responsibilities Manage daily processing operations to ensure targets for productivity, quality, efficiency, and safety are achieved. Oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of production activities to meet customer demand and production timelines. Lead and supervise processing teams, including operators, technicians, and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Ensure compliance with workplace safety, food safety (if applicable), environmental, and quality assurance standards. · Monitor processing performance using KPIs, identifying opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost control. Collaborate with procurement, maintenance, logistics, and quality teams to ensure uninterrupted and efficient operations. Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions and preventive maintenance practices. Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in capital improvement projects involving processing technologies or plant upgrades. Requirements: Strong science, engineering or dairy industry diploma level qualification.
