The key duties of the position include The Role Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) Headquarters is seeking a Deputy Director - Engagements to join the team for an initial 12 months, with a possibility for ongoing placement. The role will provide strategic advice and support to 2 and 3-Star level domestic and international engagements. The role will lead on key thematic and/or geographical areas and provide support to JCG engagements across space and cyber domains, joint logistics and national support. Primary responsibilities will include the development and co-ordination of policy, as well as planning and execution of international engagements, up to the 4-Star level, to meet Defence's strategic outcomes. This role will initially operate with significant independence, but may work with or lead an integrated team of ADF and APS members. The role will work across the JCG, other Groups & Services, other government departments and agencies, as well as industry and international partners to achieve a variety of priorities.
