Description Lead and manage the estimating team across Australia and APAC to ensure high performance and accuracy in project estimates. Develop and refine estimating processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Review and analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates. Collaborate with the sales department to ensure alignment with client requirements and expectations. Provide technical advice and guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all estimating activities. Prepare and present detailed reports on project costs and potential risks to senior management. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing. Profile A successful Estimating Team Leader should have: A strong background in the industrial or manufacturing industry, with a focus on estimating or cost analysis. Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external stakeholders. Solid understanding of project management principles and practices. A commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines. CAD experience preferable.
