Southern Cross Care are seeking a Capital Projects Officer to support the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of our FY26 capital works program. About the Role Reporting to the GM Assets & Environment, this role is responsible for ensuring all capital projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with organisational standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers to oversee the successful execution of projects that directly improve the quality of life for residents and staff across SCC’s aged care facilities. From facility upgrades to new developments, your work will ensure all capital improvements contribute to safer, more welcoming, and future-ready environments. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor delivery of SCC’s FY26 capital works program. Manage contractor and supplier engagement, ensuring quality and compliance. Collaborate with internal teams to align projects with operational needs. Monitor project budgets, timelines, and risks, ensuring successful outcomes. Champion safety, compliance, and sustainability in all project activities. About You You are a motivated and detail-focused project professional with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. You thrive in a collaborative environment and bring experience in construction, facilities, or project management. Ideally, you will have: Demonstrated experience delivering capital or construction projects. Strong knowledge of compliance, safety, and risk management frameworks.
