Gilmore Primary School is seeking a highly motivated proactive person to undertake the position of School Administration Officer. The position is located on campus in our front office and works as a pivotal part of the school team. The successful applicant will be working at the heart of our school operations, providing the welcoming face that families and visitors first encounter. You'll be providing operational support across multiple areas including front office reception, student administration, financial administration, staffing support, and excursion administration. Our close-knit administration team is dedicated to creating positive first impressions and maintaining our school's welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations. The position is a full-time role working during school terms and holiday periods. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Mandatory: Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. Desirable: Experience in an administration role. Certificate IV or equivalent e.g., Business Administration, Government (School Support Services), Government. Business qualifications or experience in a business-related role Financial qualifications or relevant experience Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of school specific software including Sentral and Timetable or similar.
