Part time role for an experienced Chef Manager based in a Luxury Retirement Living property in Kew Passion for providing an excellent Dining experience in a fabulous environment, Generous Not for Profit salary packaging amazing new facilities About the role We currently have a requirement for a Chef Manager at our Luxury Retirement Living property based in Kew. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, providing high quality meals and an exceptional dining experience to residents and their guests. Part time hours 26.5 – 34.00 hours per week About you To be successful in this role you will be experienced in the end-to-end management of food services, developing seasonal, nutritious menus, presenting outstanding food, adhering to food safety standards, financial regulations and stock management. Working closely with the Precinct Manager and a small team of hospitality staff, you'll lead the kitchen to success by providing catering & hospitality services that exceed the expectations of all residents. Skills and Experience Service excellence around all aspects of the dining experience Experience in developing seasonal, nutritious menus, to meet resident requirements Provide leadership and guidance to the hospitality staff Managing the kitchen compliance including food safety, WHS and quality Qualification (Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery) and/or extensive experience working as a Chef Excellent Menu Planning, Stock Control and ordering, kitchen and food cost management Experience in a Retirement Living or hospitality environment focused on older adults – highly regarded Most importantly, you'll have a passion for food and delivering an exemplary standard of service!
