The Role We are seeking an experienced Weighbridge Operator to join our client's cotton gin in Dalby, QLD. Be part of a supportive team and play a key role in a busy, rewarding season! What You'll Do: As a Weighbridge Operator, you'll be responsible for accurately recording truck weights for modules, cottonseed, and lint bales. You'll check delivery dockets, consignment notes, and grower information, direct trucks to the correct loading/unloading areas, and maintain strict compliance with site safety standards. Prompt reporting of unsafe practices, incidents, or discrepancies is an important part of this role. Key Responsibilities Operate the weighbridge for all incoming and outgoing trucks Verify and record delivery documentation Ensure compliance with PPE, speed limits, and safety procedures Report any unsafe practices, incidents, or equipment faults Benefits: Competitive hourly rate Steady work hours (approx. 50 hours/week) Cotton ginning often runs long shifts, meaning more take-home pay.
