We are a family-run business engaged in mixed dryland and irrigated cropping, cattle breeding and a feedlot, farming over 7,000 hectares of wheat, barley, oats, chickpea, sorghum, corn and cotton. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for agriculture and a drive for personal growth, with a commitment to maintaining a tidy and efficient workplace. You will be responsible for: Leading and collaborating with the cropping team Managing the prioritisation of work programmes and task completion Operating plant and machinery, including boom sprayers Training staff in machinery use and proper operational procedures Supervising irrigation processes Maintaining machines and farm assets Ensuring cleanliness of machinery and the general appearance of the farm Upholding safety standards, including strict adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) use Requirements: Quick learner with the ability to positively teach others Meticulous in both paper and electronic record-keeping A 'lead from the front' attitude Experience with John Deere GPS systems At least four years’ experience in broadacre cropping Experience in flood irrigation (desirable but not essential) A current manual driver’s licence (HC or MC is essential) Please send your updated resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience.
