SenSen’s innovative SenDISA-based products serve smart parking, traffic enforcement, infrastructure audits, fuel retail anti-theft solutions and more Mandate As CFO, you will serve as the financial and commercial leader, working closely with the CEO and executive team to steer financial strategy, corporate governance, investor engagement, and risk management—advancing SenSen through its growth trajectory, particularly as it pursues global scale, margin improvement, and sustained cash-flow positivity and profitability. Key Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Partner with the CEO and Executive team on corporate strategy, M&A, treasury, and investor relations. Lead development and execution of financial aspects of the multi-year strategic plan and annual budgeting—including robust KPI and OKR frameworks. Advise on commercial viability of strategic initiatives, including asset acquisitions, divestments, and new market entry. ASX Reporting & Governance Oversee ASX-compliant financial reporting: full-year and half-year statements, results presentations, Appendix 4C lodgements, and Corporate Governance statements. Collaborate with the Company Secretary on AGM coordination. Prepare and present financial materials to the Board and its committees: Audit & Risk, and, if required, Remuneration/Nomination. Operational Finance & Controls Manage financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to provide actionable insights into commercial performance. Oversee working capital, cash flow, treasury operations, and debt management. Ensure robust financial controls aligned with regulatory and governance standards. Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and internal controls across multi-geography finance teams. Risk & Compliance Implement and maintain SenSen’s Risk Management Framework, driving enterprise-wide risk identification and mitigation (compliance, security, quality, financial control). Manage insurer and uninsured risk exposures; spearhead corporate policy development to embed a risk-aware culture. Commercial & Contractual Support Serve as primary internal authority on commercial and legal judgment calls. Oversee commercial contract negotiation processes and educate business units on risk thresholds. Engage external legal counsel as needed and lead corporate continuous improvement initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement Cultivate relationships with external auditors, banks, tax advisers, regulators, and investors. Build financial fluency across the organisation, equipping teams to understand and drive performance through enhanced financial analysis. Team Leadership Mentor, grow, and develop a high-performing, globally distributed finance team. Design and lead incentive and remuneration strategies (in partnership with the CEO) fostering accountability and growth. Essential Qualifications & Attributes Accounting degree with professional qualification (CA or CPA); MBA preferred. Experience in ASX-listed financial management and investor relations. Strong strategic thinker with commercial acumen, ability to challenge the status quo. Experience in financial modelling, forecasting, and financial systems improvement.
