A General Farm Hand is required for a mixed cropping and sheep enterprise near Frankland River in Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive, family-run operation with a small cropping programme and around 16,000 sheep. The role involves a variety of livestock and machinery responsibilities, suited to someone with sheep handling experience and broadacre machinery knowledge. The position is full-time, starting immediately, with family-friendly accommodation available. About The Role: Livestock work including all aspects of sheep husbandry including, but not limited to: drenching, shearing, crutching, marking, drafting, feeding; Machinery operation: chaser bin, air seeder, spreader etc; Machinery maintenance and general workshop duties; General farm work such as fencing; Typical hours: 7.30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday; additional hours required during peak periods. About You: Strong sheep handling and stock management skills; Physically fit and capable of working long hours when required; Mechanically minded with ability to perform machinery maintenance; Minimum 2 years of broadacre machinery experience; C manual driver’s licence essential; HR truck licence desirable.
