We are seeking an experienced After-Hours Telehealth GP Locum to join our team. This flexible role allows you to work remotely while making a meaningful impact in aged care. About the Role As an After-Hours GP Locum, you will: Conduct after-hours telehealth rounds for residential aged care facilities. Provide acute medical support, clinical oversight, and continuity of care for residents. Update medication charts, issue prescriptions, and order investigations as needed. Manage and follow up on acute issues raised by facility staff. Communicate with family members and provide referrals to specialists where required. Ensure accurate and timely documentation within 30 minutes of completing rounds. Work Schedule Weekday evenings: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Weekends: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm | 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm Average 4 consultations per hour, depending on case complexity. Consultations may be initiated by either residents or facility staff. Full administrative support provided. About You You are a compassionate and adaptable GP who embraces innovative models of care and values flexibility. You will bring: Current AHPRA General or Specialist Registration . Experience in residential aged care or primary care settings (highly regarded). Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
