The Social Work team has a positive culture where team members share knowledge and experience and help each other with referrals, to ensure our patients get a timely service.   This is an ongoing part-time position, 3 days per week. The successful candidate will be eligible for 5 weeks of Annual Leave.  The role is based working with oncology outpatients and patients of our day oncology service.  The incumbent will work collaboratively with other experienced Grade 2 Social Workers on the inpatient oncology ward. The incumbent will also have opportunity to work across a range of wards (medical, surgical, maternity, pediatrics and intensive care) on a duty basis.  The Grade 2 Social Worker will provide leadership and ensure high level, evidence â based Social Work services to patients.
