About The Role At TasNetworks , we’re powering a bright future for Tasmania — and we’re looking for a capable and strategic EPMO Leader to guide our non-network portfolio and shape how our business delivers on what matters most. You will lead a small, diverse team of specialists and analysts that help the portfolio leaders around the business to plan, deliver and monitor a ~$100m of program of work. As The EPMO Leader, You’ll Oversee and continuously improve TasNetworks’ non-network project portfolio Manage enterprise portfolio services, including the enterprise value and prioritisation framework Work with key portfolio leaders to build and maintain a prioritised rolling 5-year program plan for the non-network portfolio Align budgets, regulatory allowance, and capacity planning to the program of work to achieve long-term business objectives Monitor portfolio health and address risks, gaps and improvement opportunities Provide insights and advice to senior leaders on planning and prioritisation and support investment decisions with clear, data-driven advice aligned to strategy Drive collaboration across the business for aligned delivery. About You We’re looking for a strategic thinker and collaborative leader who can bring structure, transparency and alignment to a dynamic and diverse portfolio. To thrive in this role, you’ll have: A proven ability to influence and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders Strong understanding of program and project lifecycle management and enterprise governance Experience leading through others, rather than owning individual projects directly Confidence to challenge constructively and work cross-functionally to solve problems Ability to communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical audiences A collaborative approach to leadership with the ability to uplift capability across your team and the business Highly Regarded Experience And Qualifications A proven people leader with a focus on achieving great outcomes in partnership with your team and stakeholders Over 10 years’ experience with at least 5 years in portfolio management, investment planning or similar areas Tertiary qualifications, ideally in digital, commercial or business disciplines (or equivalent experience) Formal project or program management certifications Experience working in the energy sector and/or a regulated business environment What's on offer This is a Permanent full time opportunity , offering an attractive remuneration and benefits package.
