Your responsibilities will include: Financial Control: Play a key role in preparing and analysing comprehensive financial reports for senior leaders, while meeting vital external reporting requirements. You'll work closely with the Finance Manager on audits and innovative finance initiatives, optimising accounting systems for greater efficiency. As a mentor and advisor, you’ll guide offshore team members in reconciliations, calculations, ledger entries, and reporting processes. You’ll also drive the creation and enhancement of robust control frameworks, actively shaping the GS007 certification process. Business Partnering: Be a trusted advisor by delivering accurate, timely financial insights and analysis that empower the Fund Manager, investors, and stakeholders to make informed decisions. Cash and Debt Management: Take ownership of cash flow forecasting and support strategic fund transfers, collaborating with the Treasury team on ad hoc requests. Tax Compliance: Gain hands-on experience preparing distributions, tax returns, Business Activity Statements, and more, all while adhering to best practices and internal policies. Stakeholder Management: Join a collaborative culture where you'll build strong relationships across various teams, contributing directly to the success of the business and other related departments. Continuous Improvement and Transformation: participate in transformation projects, assess and review current ways of working and assist with process efficiency, work procedures, and other ad-hoc queries or tasks that arise. Your point of difference You are a CA or CPA qualified (or near-qualified) accounting professional with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Big 4 firm, chartered practice, or commercial environment - ideally within the property or funds management sectors. You will also have: Experience with Yardi, Blackline advantageous Strong MS Excel capability Well-developed and clear written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Process improvement mindset Self-motivated, can-do attitude and ability to manage competing priorities Ability to interact and engage with various stakeholders across the business.
