Description Overview of role: The Corporate Land Asset Coordinator plays a key role in managing Coliban Water’s land interests, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and licences. Working within the Land, Catchment and Property team, the role ensures compliance with legislation, leads stakeholder engagement, and supports future land needs. It also involves providing expert advice, mentoring staff, improving business processes, and managing complex land transactions across the region. Key Responsibilities: As our Corporate Land Asset Coordinator, you’ll be accountable for: Manage the acquisition and disposal of land processes on behalf of Coliban Water in accordance with relevant policy. Preparation and management of licence and lease agreements relating to all Coliban Water land interests. Lead a team with 1 direct report. Analyse proposed land dealings and transactions, identify issues and provide reports with options for positive outcomes for Coliban Water. Participate in the budgeting process and be accountable for the relevant budget areas within the positions control. About you: Strong understanding of land law as it applies to public sector entities/Water corporations Sound working knowledge of relevant land management systems such as GIS, L.A.S.S.I, OnLine Title Search, ArcView and GPS. Tertiary qualifications in business, real estate, law engineering, or a related discipline desirable. Experience in property management and leasing agreements. Experience in the following; process of compulsory easements and land acquisition, customer engagement, issuing notices, valuation processes will be highly regarded. Sound like you?
