THE ROLE The Senior Project Officer will work with our Aboriginal Housing partners to support them during the development lifecycle to building homes for their community. The Senior Project Officer position is situated in the Delivery and Strategy Team in the Aboriginal Housing and Homelessness Branch in Homes Victoria, an agency of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. The Delivery and Strategy Unit leads the support to the Aboriginal Housing Sector to procure and develop housing for community in a self-determined approach aligned to each community's need and requirement. ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Engage and build strong relationships to provide holistic support for them to achieve their community's housing needs. Support housing project acquisition/ initiation including advice on due diligence, property transaction, planning and development viability. Provide expert advice for detailed project development submissions for funding including providing feedback and advice to improve the quality of submission to maximise the opportunity for funding.
