Huon’s Feed Delivery team has a fulltime opportunity for a Feed Store Officer at Port Huon. Working a 7/7 roster, this position offers a great work life balance. The role The Feed Store Officer will primarily assist with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of feed into and out of the Port Huon Feed Store, delivery boats and trucks. Key responsibilities include: Following the feed schedule and managing stock levels with efficient draw down plans from feed and freight suppliers. Processing feed orders from Fish Performance Managers, forecasting weather and liaising with skippers on suitable feed delivery windows. Completing feed breakage sample analysis to determine if feed pellets are up to specification. Supporting with deckhand duties as required. Located at our Port Huon site, this is a fulltime opportunity operating on a 7 days on, 7 days off roster. About you Demonstrated experience efficiently and safely manoeuvring a forklift in tight spaces. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan ahead and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communicator with the ability to work as part of a small team. Sound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. A keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.
