Huon is looking for an enthusiastic Stores & Purchasing Lead to oversee purchasing systems and procedures and lead a dynamic team of two. This position will ensure seamless procurement aligned with business system requirements, while driving continuous improvement across inventory management, automation, and cost control. Responsibilities will include: Leading and supporting the Stores & Purchasing team, ensuring compliance with procedures while expanding inventory control systems Streamlining purchasing processes using Esker automation and ensure alignment with JBS/Huon delegated authority requirements Implementing and managing systems such as MEX for tracking and purchasing spare parts, driving efficiency and accuracy Collaborating with business unit leaders to monitor monthly expenses, support fixed cost management, and meet reporting obligations Overseeing vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and purchase order management, while maintaining accurate records and driving continuous improvement across supply chain operations This is a fulltime opportunity primarily based at Hideaway Bay, near Dover, with travel to sites required.
