As a key team within the Brand, Marketing & Communications, Leisure Marketing is accountable for driving awareness, engagement, and activation among RACV Members and customers across four portfolios – Travel & Experiences, Travel Insurance, RACV Club, and Conferences and Events. We are looking for a dynamic leader to head the Leisure Marketing team and engage as a key business partner with the senior Leisure leadership team. You will play a vital role in the Brand, Marketing & Communications team and collaborate broadly with the Membership & Digital and Leisure teams. About the Opportunity You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic marketing plan across the Leisure portfolio, including proposition development, media strategies, local area marketing, communication programs, measurement, and optimization. In this role, you will: Lead the development and delivery of the Leisure component of the strategic Brand & Marketing plan to support business targets for Leisure and the wider enterprise. Champion and be accountable for a comprehensive marketing strategy across the Leisure portfolio, including Member Benefits. Develop and refine values-based propositions to meet and challenge benchmarks and targets. Contribute to business strategy development, working closely with the Leisure leadership team. Negotiate and influence senior managers in planning and delivery of business and marketing strategies. Ensure timely input of requirements into broader Marketing teams to support business strategies. Model leadership behaviors, coach team members, and manage individual development and performance. Own and manage the marketing budget and plan outcomes. Promote efficiencies through active planning and optimization. Manage key media, creative agencies, and destination partners to deliver the work program. What you’ll need to be successful Extensive strategic marketing experience in B2C sectors, especially travel and hospitality. Experience in member-based organizations or loyalty programs is advantageous. Proven ability to develop comprehensive marketing strategies. Strong quantitative skills and experience in strategic marketing. Leadership experience in dynamic environments with a track record of delivering results. Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills. Financial and commercial acumen. Experience in guiding development of team members at various levels. Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills. Collaborative team player. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
