APS 6 Stakeholder Engagement Advisor Be Part of a Landmark Infrastructure Initiative We’re seeking a skilled and passionate APS 6 Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to support the delivery of a nationally significant infrastructure program that’s reshaping connectivity across Australia. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a high-profile, future-focused project with real impact. About the Role As Stakeholder Engagement Advisor, you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders — including government agencies, elected representatives, industry bodies, and community groups. You’ll help shape engagement strategies, manage communications, and provide insights that guide project delivery. This full-time labour hire role is based in Sydney, with hybrid work arrangements available. Some weekend and after-hours work, as well as travel to attend community and stakeholder events, may be required. The contract runs through June 2026, with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies aligned with project goals Conduct stakeholder mapping and maintain accurate engagement records Prepare high-quality communication materials including correspondence, newsletters, briefings, reports, and presentations Coordinate engagement activities such as workshops, briefings, roundtables, and events Monitor stakeholder sentiment and emerging issues, providing strategic advice and risk mitigation recommendations Support data-driven decision-making through regular reporting About You You’re a confident communicator and strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments. You bring: Minimum 5 years’ experience in stakeholder or community engagement (infrastructure experience highly regarded) Relevant qualifications in communications, engagement, or a related field beneficial Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust, engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, and manage sensitive issues Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify stakeholder impacts, risks, and opportunities Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and stakeholder engagement platforms (e.g., Consultation Manager) What’s on Offer Labour hire contract through June 2026, with potential for extension Flexible working arrangements Opportunity to contribute to one of Australia’s most significant infrastructure programs Eligibility Applicants must be eligible to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance, which requires Australian citizenship and a verifiable background over the past five years.
