The Position Sharp & Carter have exclusively partnered with a large listed organisation to recruit a payroll professional. This position is based in Carole Park and offers hybrid working and free onsite parking. As the Payroll Officer, you will ensure accurate, timely payroll delivery while providing exceptional customer service to employees and managers. You will partner closely with the business to develop a strong understanding of awards, agreements, and pay complexities, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within payroll operations. Key Responsibilities Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll ensuring accurate calculations; Audit and analyse payrolls to ensure legislative, tax, superannuation, and award compliance; Prepare and manage reports, reconciliations, and other internal payroll requirements; Collaborate with HR on employee appointments, terminations, remuneration, and award matters; Maintain accurate staff records, archiving, and adherence to company retention policies; Support payroll system upgrades and continuous improvement. Skills & Experience Proven experience processing medium to large payrolls in a complex environment Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach Eagerness to advance knowledge of technologies and online tools.
