Your work will have a tangible impact on multi-million-dollar investment decisions, fund performance, and strategic portfolio growth. The Role As Investment Analyst, you will be the go-to expert for data-driven insights that underpin acquisition, divestment, and fund strategies. Your ability to model and analyse complex retail property data will empower both the business and its capital partners to make informed, high-value investment decisions. Your scope will include: Financial modelling for individual assets, portfolios, acquisitions, and developments Market research and intelligence gathering on retail property trends, transactions, and valuation metrics Analysis and reporting on fund performance, risks, and opportunities Assisting with acquisition qualification, due diligence, and investment thesis preparation Building strong relationships with capital partners and providing clear, data-backed recommendations What We’re Looking For Proven property investment experience – ideally 5 years in valuations, transactions, or investment analysis Advanced financial modelling skills (Excel essential, Forbury advantageous) Strong understanding of the Australian retail property market Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or similar Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with precision Excellent communication skills – confident presenting to executives and investors The Culture McConaghy Properties is known for its collaborative, high-performance culture, where relationships, integrity, and results are paramount.
