We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our team and support the safe, efficient operation of our grain storage and handling facility – including bunker management, weighbridge operations, and supporting our Site Manager to lead a great crew of people. About the Role Reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for assisting in day-to-day site operations including: Managing grain receival, storage (silos and bunkers) and outturn. Supporting weighbridge activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Overseeing bunker setup, maintenance, grain monitoring and cover integrity. Supporting safe and efficient transport of grain to market via our transport network. Supervising permanent team members and seasonal site staff. Mentoring team members and our aspiring future supervisors in their careers in grain handling. Maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring environmental compliance. About You You’re someone who enjoys being out in the field and working with a high-performing team. You have a strong understanding of grain storage or logistics and are ready to step up into a leadership role. We’re looking for: A supervisor with a passion for safety and ensuring that anyone at the site is respected and supported. Experience in grain handling, storage, or agricultural logistics. Knowledge of weighbridge systems and open bunker management (desirable). Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for operational detail. Ability to lead and support a team, particularly during busy harvest seasons. Forklift/front-end loader tickets or willingness to obtain. HR truck licence (desirable).
