So what will you be doing in this role Grain Handling Operations Operating a front-end loader and other machinery Forming bunkers and monitoring grain stacks Performing tarp work, sweeping, shovelling, and site maintenance Assist with the receival, movement, and storage of grain (including bunker or silo operations) Operate grain handling equipment (e.g. conveyors, augers, grain vacs) under supervision Assist with outloading of grain, ensuring accurate documentation and procedures are followed. Site Safety & Maintenance Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and report hazards immediately Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately Assist in cleaning of grain equipment, bunkers, weighbridge areas, and site facilities Support maintenance activities such as tarping, sweeping, pest control, and dust management Customer Service & Teamwork Engage respectfully with growers, drivers, and team members Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to a positive, team-based work environment Provide timely updates on grain movements, quality issues, or equipment concerns Ideally you have skills with loaders, water trucks and manual handling activities.
