Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for a highly skilled Principal Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to lead and oversee electrical and instrumentation aspects of projects, ensuring they are completed to a high standard, within budget and on schedule for a major capital works program in Laverton, Victoria. Leads and guides a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment Builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, and ensuring their satisfaction with project outcomes Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards Identifies and implements innovative solutions, troubleshoots complex issues, and provides technical support Contributes to design review workshops and quality checks Foster a culture of safe delivery, continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration Qualifications What makes you remarkable? Minimum 12 years’ direct experience managing projects on major hazards facilities (MHF) Demonstrable experience of embedding safety considerations into all aspects of electrical and instrumentation engineering and design Proven experience of being directly involved on projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors.
