Accountant Available qualified Accountant required on contract Interim contract for statutory reporting compliance Use your technical qualifications and experience The Company Recognisable healthcare services company based close to the city with a quality finance team, tenured and supportive financial leadership and engaging operations Short summary The CFO needs a technical accountant with experience in AASB and IFRS for stat accounts The Role This is a temporary assignment to start immediately and would also suit those on a working holiday visa with experience in statutory reporting using AASB and IFRS for accounting standards compliance accounting, financial statement preparations and compliance along with application of tax standards on GST, intercompany transactions and external reporting requirements. Daily work will include: Year end financials Financial statement preparations Journals and reconciliation of accounts Intercompany and GST reconciliations Application of accounting standards for general purpose accounts accounting standards Contract should last 3 months with other projects in mind from the CFO around accounting manuals, process and procedures for reporting monthly and yearly with readiness for clean audit files and smart easy delivery of reporting and audit. Your Profile You are an experienced qualified accountant with a passion for technical accounting available for a contract for 3 to 6 months.
