As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented IT Systems and Network Engineer to join our team. Responsibilities: As a Computer Network and Systems Engineer at Interfuse Technology, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our network infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our network systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' diverse needs. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and deploying functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) - Configuring and installing network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) - Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues - Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and tuning - Implementing network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware - Collaborating with project managers and other IT specialists to design and implement network solutions - Conducting regular network assessments and making recommendations for improvements Requirements: - Proven experience as a Computer Network and System Engineer or a similar role. - Experience in the managed services provider (MSP) domain is highly advantageous. - Advanced knowledge of AD, Server management & Microsoft 365 - Server build and installation (Windows & Linux) - Experience in setting up Networks, Switches, Routers and Firewalls (Palo Alto and Checkpoint experience is must) - Advanced knowledge of virtualisation technologies especially VMWare, Nutanix, Proxmox & Red Hat - Must have experience with Server and Storage hardware including but not limited to HPE Simplivity - Experience with HP ClearPass implementation and other NAC solutions - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - A “Can do” attitude. Education: - Bachelor’s degree in information technology, IT Diploma, OR equivalent work experience in Network design & setup experience - Red Hat Certified System Administrator or equivalent experience - HPE Aurba Network Security Certification - Possessing relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Azure, CCNA, etc., would be a valuable addition.
