This includes securing and maintaining land access, ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation, and upholding all regulatory obligations. Job Statement A rewarding opportunity exists for a Manager Land to join Genesis Minerals Limited. This a full-time permanent opportunity, based in our Perth corporate Office. Reporting directly to the Head of Land & External Relations, this key leadership role is responsible for leading the effective management of the Company’s land and tenement portfolio across Western Australia. This includes securing and maintaining land access, ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation, and upholding all regulatory obligations. The role is critical to maintaining the Company’s land and tenure in good standing, supporting operational continuity, and enabling future growth through proactive, compliant, and strategic land management. The opportunity: Manage the Company’s land and tenement portfolio, ensuring all obligations are in accordance with legislation and reported in a timely and accurate manner to DMPE and other relevant bodies Develop and maintain systems and procedures that will effectively support compliance obligations and maintain up to date records. Manage Wardens Court process Monitor legislative and policy changes affecting land and tenure and provide internal guidance and training as required Prepare and coordinate responses to regulatory audits and reviews Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and divestments, identify risks and fatal flaws, and provide appropriate strategies as required. Develop and implement integration plans for new land and tenure assets to facilitate a smooth transition into the Company’s operational framework Oversee general land access for the Company’s activities including risk mitigation strategies Manage land access negotiations, including agreement making, ensuring timely resolution Identify, assess, and manage the Company’s Land & Tenement Risk Matrix, including potential impacts on operation, and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks, ensuring that they are effectively monitored and controlled Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory authorities including DEMIRS and DPLH Represent the Company in relevant industry forums What you can expect from us A caring and supportive culture Professional and positive team environments within our Corporate Office, On Site, and at all facilities A 'grow our own' approach with a preference to develop and promote internally Access to professional development activities and educational assistance Competitive salary, and options for salary sacrificing About You A relevant tertiary qualification in Geosciences, Law, Planning, Environment Commerce or equivalent is highly desirable 10 years’ experience in land management, legal support, or a related field within the mining, resources, or infrastructure sectors Strong knowledge of Western Australian mining legislation, regulations, legal compliance requirements, and risk management principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively. High level of integrity, with a strong commitment to ethical practices, risk management, and governance Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
