Why we need you Safety is our number one priority, and we are now seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified senior level HSEQ leaders from high-risk work industries who have strong experience from both a strategic and tactical point of view. This is a hands-on role, and your remit will cover the varying operational aspects across Australia and the UK as we continue to expand our footprint across the regions. You’ll manage a team of HSEQ professionals across both jurisdictions ensuring that there is cohesion in the delivery of strategic imperatives, whilst ensuring best in class day to day activities are delivered to varying units within the company. What we would like We require someone who is not only a visionary when it comes to best practice HSEQ, but also has the horsepower to get things done through their own and the teams’ actions. You are a visible safety leader and will have already operated at a senior HSEQ leadership role in high-risk work environments within Australia, preferably with exposure to the UK/ Europe where you have personally been able to design and implement strategy whilst driving cultural change. Your keys to success Minimum of 10 years’ experience in an equivalent senior HSEQ leadership role managing HSEQ professionals. Strength in identifying critical risks, putting in place critical risk controls and educating a predominantly blue-collar workforce. Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills to achieve leadership buy in. Solid experience within the building, construction, mining, or similar high risk work industry preferably with subcontractor/ tier 1 expertise. Degree qualifications in OH&S, environmental management, or relevant discipline. Experience and knowledge of ISO standards including 9001, 14001 and 45001. Extensive knowledge of legislation relevant to the industry in Australia and preferably the UK. Drivers licence to travel to varying project sites as required.
