Our Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing team works alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, families, and communities to provide wraparound, trauma-informed, and culturally respectful services. We’re looking for an Aboriginal Pathways to Good Health Coordinator to join our multidisciplinary team and lead a program making a real difference for Aboriginal children and young people (0–18) in Out of Home Care (OoHC). Your role, your impact In this role, you’ll: Provide culturally safe health navigation and wellbeing support, ensuring care respects cultural identity and community connection. Deliver holistic, trauma-informed clinical services in line with your AHPRA registration. Build strong, trusting relationships with Aboriginal children, families, and carers. Offer secondary consultations with a cultural lens to child protection and residential care teams. Coordinate and provide operational and cultural leadership for the Pathways to Good Health program. Mentor team members in culturally safe practice, ensuring services meet both clinical and cultural safety standards. Who we’re looking for You’re an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health professional with: AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse or Aboriginal Health Practitioner. Experience providing culturally safe, trauma-informed services to Aboriginal children and young people. Knowledge of the health, social, and emotional wellbeing needs of Aboriginal children, particularly those in OoHC. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work in partnership with ACCOs, community, and multidisciplinary teams. A current Victorian driver’s licence.
