We are looking for experienced enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Community Service Assistant to support clients to participate in our daily activity program in line with clients individual needs and care plan. This is a permanent part time role working within our Community Centre. Working as part of a friendly and close-knit team, your focus will be: • Assist and support volunteers to help with delivery of the program Assist in Facilitation of comfortable and safe transport for our clients using the Donwood bus fleet • Assist when required to update clients’ records in management systems, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information which reflects the most recent assessments, care plans, and service details. ▪ Assist in the planning and execution of social activities, events, and wellness programs for clients, ensuring that all logistical needs are met and that the events align with client preferences and wellbeing goals. ▪ Laise with clients and their representatives to identify strategies and opportunities that maximise engagement and promote healthy lifestyle practices. ▪ Empower clients to engage and contribute to the program suggestions • Always maintain client privacy About you You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career within our Community Centre. To be considered for this role, you will need: • Previous Experience (2 years) of similar role in a Community Centre/Aged Care setting. • Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care or equivalent • Current First Aid Certificate • Demonstrated initiative and ability to be self-motivated, work without supervision and promote a positive lifestyle environment • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Well-developed prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines • Current Satisfactory Police Check • Victorian Driver License
