We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Groundsperson/Gardener to join our team. About the Role As a Groundsperson/Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and gardens to a high standard and contributing to the overall presentation and functionality of the site. What You’ll Be Doing Lawn and grounds care that makes every visitor say “wow” Irrigation systems – install, maintain, and automate Gardening tasks – weed control, pruning, mulching, planting Cellar Door support – waste disposal, recycling, firewood restocking Safe chemical application – fertilisers, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides Event support – setup, pack-down, and clean-up Tractor operation – slashing, spraying, driveway maintenance Chainsaw and pole-saw work General site maintenance and cleanliness What We’re Looking For Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Eye for detail and pride in your work Commitment to safety, wearing PPE and adherence to company policies and procedures Valid driver’s licence ChemCert (or willingness to obtain) Experience with gardening equipment (brush cutters, mowers, edgers, blowers) Knowledge of plant and pest identification and control Desirable Qualifications Certificate in Horticulture Forklift licence Chainsaw certificate Working at Heights licence Elevated Work Platform licence Telehandler certificate Advertised: 28 Jul 2025 Cen.
