About the Role: The Hydroecologist is primarily responsible for providing professional hydroecological advice and analysis by undertaking investigations, assessments and modelling using existing tools and applications. The role involves providing advice on water planning and management of the State's water resources, supporting projects in various water systems across the State, and providing hydroecological input into key Department for Environment and Water initiatives. Essential Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in environment, conservation, ecology, hydrology or a related natural resource management (NRM) discipline Special Conditions: May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties. Current class “C" driver's licence or equivalent and willingness to safely operate a 4WD is desirable.
