About the Organisation An independent statutory authority within the public sector is undertaking a strategic ICT transformation to replace its legacy case management system with a modern Microsoft Dynamics 365–based platform. This initiative aims to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and ensure compliance with quality standards, governance frameworks, and broader enterprise requirements. About the Role The Principal Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of the new document/customer management system, including migration from existing software. Acting as a senior “Change Agent”, the role will guide the organisation through implementation and capability uplift, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead assigned project phase to completion, ensuring alignment with business requirements and timely delivery. Manage relationships with executives, business representatives, and vendors to ensure stakeholder support and delivery outcomes. Oversee vendor performance to ensure agreed scope, quality, and schedules are met. Provide leadership to maintain project alignment with governance documentation. Manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with funding and forecasting requirements. Liaise with relevant enterprise and digital governance bodies for reporting and assurance. Act as a Change Agent to support transition to business-as-usual operations. Essential Criteria Proven record in delivering complex ICT modernisation projects enhancing efficiency, security, and business performance. 10 years’ experience in project management and complex project integration. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organisational levels. Proven vendor management and negotiation skills. In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum) and project management frameworks (PRINCE2, MSP). Demonstrated experience in Microsoft technologies (365, Azure, Dynamics 365, SQL). Excellent communication skills for delivering change and managing diverse stakeholder expectations. Strong financial acumen in budget and vendor management. Experience in government or public sector environments.
